The Birth: The Savage She-Hulk #1 introduced this super-babe to the world. Jennifer Walters was in need of blood and her match was her cousin; Bruce Banner. Bruce Banner had already transformed into the Hulk a long time ago through a freak radiation accident. The transfusion of Banner's irradiated blood saved her life but also altered her genes, transforming her into Hulk mode whenever she got angry.
The Alter Ego: Jennifer Walters worked as a lawyer and
later became the District Attorney.
Jen used to date a wealty man by name of Richard Rory. But their
relationship ended when Jen became the She-Hulk full time.
Wyatt Wingfoot, an American Indian rights activist and chief of the
Keewazi Tribe fell in love with Jen and the two had a serious
relationship for some time. Although they are no longer dating,
they remain good friends.
Another one of her previous boyfriends is Daniel "Zapper" Ridge
who now reamins as a friend to Jen. The two were also childhood
friends.
Louise "Weezie" Mason her a close friend of Jen Walters as
well as her legal secretary. Louise is also a retired
1940s crimefighter formerly known as the Blonde Phantom.
The Legend: Unlike Bruce who loses his intelligence when
in Hulk form, Jen retains her consiousness and intelligence making
her one smart, savage lady when angry. Infact she is much
happier when she in in her Hulk form, and totally enjoyed the time
when she could not change back to her original human form. Of course
she is a less stonger than the Hulk.
After gaining her powers, the She-Hulk encountered several
difficulties. Among the difficulties were being framed for a
murder, labeled as a menace to Los Angeles, attacked by Iron
Man, and a degenerative disease.
After being cured from her degenerative disease, the She-Hulk
gained the ability to control her transformations. However, later
events caused her to suffer from an identity crisis.
She-Hulk found it better to work i a group and joined the
Avengers. Later on, she left the group to become the
Thing's replacement in the Fantastic Four.
Consequently she returned to the Avengers and has been with them
off and on.
She also gained the ability to switch physical forms with another
being much later. This was much after she had bagged the post of D.A.
Ultimately, She-Hulk was killed in battle. But then, she was
again ressurected. After this her series was cancelled.
Later on, Jen became the legal counsellor for the Heroes For
Hire and soon ended up participating in their adventures.
She-Hulk has faced the likes of Spragg, Mahkizmo, the Black
Talon, Xemnu the Titan, the Masters of Evil, Morgan Le Fey, the
Lava Men, Tyrak, The Gods of Olympus, The Awesome Android, Sentry
459 and the Super-Adaptoid, Nebula and many more.
Titania continues to remain She-Hulk's primary foe.
