File 52 Rose

The Birth: When Richard Fisk discovered that his father; Wilson Fisk was really the kingpin of crime and their family fortune had been amassed by spilling blood of countless lives, he swore that his father would be brought to justice -one way or another.
That's when he adopted the identity as the Schemer in Amazing Spider-Man #83. He was first shown as the Rose in Amazing Spider-Man #253 and as Blood Rose in Web of Spider-Man #88.

The Legend: The Schemer targeted and directly attacked the Kingpin's minions, leading to a confrontation with the Kingpin himself. Faced with his father, Richard unmasked. His son's betrayal briefly unhinged the Kingpin's mind. Feeling remorse, Richard Fisk went to work with H.Y.D.R.A. to regain his father's respect. But his association with the group was soon ended when Captain America brought the group down. Richard himself, was nearly killed in the encounter, but was rejuvenated only by a shot of Spidey's life force. (Something too bizarre to explain)
Following his near-death experience, he stayed outta sight for quite some time. His comeback saw the light of his new identity as the Rose, a crime-lord under the Kingpin's control. But he still continued his efforts to destroy the elder Fisk , this time working within the family circle, with the help of his two close friends; Alfredo Morelli and Ned Leeds.
Troubled times came when the gangwar started. During one shoot-out, Rose delt a fatal bullet to a rookie cop who got in his way. That single incident turned to be a turning point for the Rose - a point of no return. Then Ned Leeds was murdered while on assignment for Berlin. Dillusioned, Rose openly joined his father's organization.
Hatching another plan, he made the elder Fisk think he could be trusted enough to take over his empire. Undergoing a plastic surgery to look like Richard, Alfredo Morelli went even higher up in the Kingpin's business.
Kingpin's defeat at the hands of DareDevil and H.Y.D.R.A left a void which needed to be filled. Without Richard's knowledge Alfredo Morelli, using Richard's face, made himself the new Kingpin. Enraged by Morelli's betrayal, Richard Fisk started an all-out war against his former friend in a Punisher-esque style of open warfare as the new Blood Rose. After a massive battle that included Spider-Man, the Enforcers and the Foreigner successfully brought Alfredo down, Richard entered the Witness Protection Program.
Ofcourse, the Rose bounced back as New York's crime-lord, though his identity as Richard Fisk is still not been determined.
..... Richard is a well-trained athlete who has studied various yoga techinques that enable him to control pain and escape out of tight situations. He is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and in the use of a variety of firearms. As the Schemer, he used many weapons including a steel-wired cape and Spider-Sense numbing gas bombs. When he adopted the guise of the Rose, he relied more on his talent as an organizer and his power to induce fear into his underlings to get work done. But when he became Blood Rose, his speciality was all the firepower he could find including really big guns.
He has also teamed up on many occassions with the Hobgoblin who in the end betrayed him. He has initially hired the Puma to get rid of Spidey but then revoked the contract after being persuaded by the Kingpin. Puma was well compensated for his effort and has always maintained a certain respect for his former employer. As for his love life, he did at one time have a girlfriend, Dina; who never really cared about his foray into crime. And inspite of all his underhand dealings as the Schemer, Rose or Blood Rose, Richard Fisk still does not have a criminal record against his name.
