The Birth: Teenage Freddy Freeman and his grandfather were busy fishing, unaware that a fight of massive proportions was taking place between Captain Marvel and Captain Nazi on the other side of the sea. All of a sudden they heard a sonic boom and Cpatain Nazi came crashing down near them. Unaware of who the person was, the two of them dragged Nazi out of the water. And repaying the debt, Captain Nazi flung Freddy's grandfather right across in the air and did the same with Freddy after snapping his leg like a twig.
Since Captain Marvel had thrown the pucnh that sent the Nazi into Freddy's vincity, he felt responsible for what had happened to his friend. Both, Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel agreed to share their power with Freddy Freeman to help him survive. Freddy has just to utter the name of his favorite super-hero; Captain Marvel, and he is transformed into Captain Marvel Jr!

The Alter Ego: Freddy Freeman, while still in school, was the all-round sports star of his school until the day of his accident where the doctors told him he'd never walk again. A confident, good-natured lad, Freddy became quite bitter on knowing that his chance for glory was bleak. But his mood slowly improved as he got used to his new physical condition.

The Legend: When Freddy Freeman first became Captain Marvel Jr. his feeling for revenge made him go after Captain Nazi to finish him off. But he was stopped by Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel who took Nazi into custody. Freddy stayed on the Marvel team helping them fight villains like Mr.Mind, Black Adam and Blaze.

Since he has the very same power of Captain Marvel, he possesses the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury, which also enables flight. And when he transforms into Marvel Jr. he reduces the power of the other two Marvels.
